Have you ever seen a 5 yrs old blind Korean girl "Play By Ear"? Watch the below video clip.
Ye Eun was born blind and adopted by a childless couple. Her adopted mother continually sung her a favourite Korean song and one day, at 3 yrs old, she played the song "By Ear" on the piano. From then onwards, it was history.
She has the capability to hear the song only once and she can play it back. She can also find the accompanying pitch almost immediately. In fact, she can sing and accompany herself!

Actually, we do have talent; maybe not at much as she has but most of us do have enough of the talent to make out our own favourite songs.
Like the blind girl, we do not need "music notes" or "scores" to be able to play. We already have that inherent ability. Like what the judge said: "We hope you find a good teacher", you too need a good teacher who has that ability to teach you such.
